Scholarship America designs, funds, and manages scholarship programs on behalf of organizations like ours. They handle application processing, selection criteria development, award disbursement, donor relations, and compliance reporting — so the Legends Scholarships & Grants subcommittee can focus on setting vision and strategy while Scholarship America handles day-to-day operations with proven expertise.

Keep a complete, current list of all scholarships and grants available through Legends of Basketball published on this website, updated as new opportunities are added or existing programs change.
Leverage Scholarship America's end-to-end program administration for all scholarship operations — from application intake through award disbursement and compliance reporting.
Establish an initial goal of 10 scholarship awards in the first program year, with a 20% annual growth target thereafter. Funding targets will be set to support these award levels.
Maintain records of all applications received, awards given, and ongoing student progress for every scholarship recipient in the program.
Actively promote scholarship opportunities to all Legends of Basketball members and their eligible family members through chapter communications, the website, and direct outreach.
Actively pursue grants from the NBA Foundation and other external sources to grow the scholarship fund beyond member-supported levels.
