Harlem Globetrotter · Coach · Educator · Entrepreneur
Bruce Capers has lived every dimension of basketball — as a player, ambassador, executive, coach, educator, and entrepreneur. His journey began in the competitive college ranks before he joined the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters, one of the most recognizable sports entertainment organizations on the planet.
With the Globetrotters, Capers not only performed at the highest level of basketball showmanship but eventually moved into leadership, serving as both Goodwill Ambassador and Director of Marketing. This dual experience — on the court and in the front office — gave him a comprehensive understanding of the sport that few possess.
After leaving the Globetrotters, Bruce channeled his expertise into coaching and education. At Gordon State College, he built a winning program and earned multiple Coach of the Year honors, all while serving as an Associate Professor and Associate Athletic Director. Since 1986, his Capers Enterprise has provided basketball training and camp programming, shaping thousands of young players.
Founded in 1986, Capers Enterprise provides elite basketball training, camps, and skills development programs. Bruce's philosophy merges the entertainment excellence of the Globetrotters with the disciplined coaching methodology he developed over decades at the collegiate level.
